We’re Dutch and on a trip in NZ. We were looking for breakfast and we came across this place. The people are very nice, the food and coffee was great! The chef even came out and asked us how it was. The place itself has very local vibes, great experience!
Wemt here for breakfast. The staff were very friendly and the food was really good. A good size, I left with a full stomach. Definitely recommend and will be back again
Don’t normally visit Pubs with no beer, but glad I stopped in this one. Run by a very friendly couple in interesting pleasant surroundings. Food was simple but well cooked and I must say the coffee is one of the best I have had.

A lovely family run Cafe on main street of Taumaranui, 3 minute walk from bus stop and information centre. I had a hot cheese scone with butter and a tea! Sooo yummy for this cold weather. The cafe had great ambiance, full of character, some smooth music, and service with a smile!
Passed by this small town during my trip and was drawn in by the look of this place. Ordered some chips, and the staff were super friendly. Since the weather was really hot, they even offered me cold water. Plus, they have free WiFi!
